Chelsea Community Senior services (C2S2)
We'll Help You Stay Put!
The Chelsea Senior Center, in conjunction with Silver Maples and other community partners, has launched a new program called Chelsea Community Senior Services (C2S2) to help local seniors remain independently in their own homes. C2S2 will provide seniors access to needed services using volunteers or through referrals to vetted and discounted service providers. This program, which creates a network of essential resources for local seniors, is possible through generous grants from the Chelsea-Area Wellness Foundation and Chelsea Community Foundation.
*We especially need snow removal providers (paid and/or volunteer)!
C2S2 is seeking volunteer applicants to provide services such as transportation, friendly visits, basic home maintenance, check-in calls, light gardening or yard work, assistance with electronics, and pet care. We are interested in hearing about the skills you can share with local residents. This is a great opportunity to assist local seniors so they can continue to live at home while remaining connected to their community. For additional information click here for frequently asked questions or here for volunteer application. Applications for vendors and service providers are available. To access services or volunteer, please contact Mackenzie Pfeiffer at 734-475-9242 or email email@example.com. Volunteers needed to help with Spring clean up and yard work!
Inclement Weather Policy: Chelsea Senior Center closes when Chelsea Schools close for snow, ice or power outages. Please call 734 433-2275 for school closing information.
