Drop in to pick up a coupon booklet, while supplies last, for those who are Washtenaw County Residents AND 60 years of age or older. Booklets will also be available at the Chelsea Farmers Market on May 24, 2025.  No income requirement. Coupons can be used on Michigan-grown foods including fruits, vegetables, eggs, cheese, yogurt, meat, poultry, fish and honey.  Foods not mentioned in the above list are not eligible. Facilitated by Katie Garvey, based on the curriculum developed by Teepa Snow. This introductory, interactive training workshop helps to raise awareness & build knowledge about dementia brain changes. Physiological changes affect a person’s ability to navigate & make sense of the world around them.  Katie will introduce practical skills to respond in more helpful & empathetic ways. It enables one to meet people where they are on the journey. Those who care for a loved one, have a family member or friend who is living with dementia, or someone who works with people experiencing brain changes will find this experience very helpful. Free to attend. Prerequisite is attendance in PAC Workshop 1. To register call or email CSC with your name & phone number.
