For almost 60 years, the Chelsea Senior Center has been enhancing the quality of life and well-being of seniors and their families in the Chelsea area. We take our role as an important community resource seriously. Our success is due in large part to the support of our amazing community.

We are keenly aware that the senior population is growing faster than any other segment of society, particularly in our amazing, senior-friendly community. Did you know that 30% of Chelsea’s citizens are 65 and better? That’s the highest senior population in Washtenaw County.  Our membership exceeds 1200 people. Our reach extends into Lima, Sylvan, Lyndon, Dexter, and Sharon townships as well as into the rural communities of Stockbridge, Grass Lake, Pinckney, and Manchester. We support a lot of seniors but the need for programs, senior services, and resources will only increase. We have more work to do in our community! We need your help.
