The Ease the Day program operates Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9:30 to 2:00, offering a thoughtful mix of socializing, education, movement, creativity, and music. Under the leadership of Emily Nagaonkar and Sam Angus, each day is carefully planned, but the volunteers help to bring the plans to life.
Meals on Wheels at Chelsea Senior Center: Nutrition Meets Connection
“Meals on Wheels supports older adults so they can maintain their health, independence and ability to age in their own homes,” says Chelsea Senior Center Assistant Director Jon Van Hoek. None of this would be possible without volunteers — those who package the meals and those, like Guerin, who deliver them.
